Extremely professional. My permanent crown was fitted perfectly in just one visit! Dr Patrick Steed and his dental assistant Dania used modern technology and professional care to fit my new crown. They carried out the utmost professional work and explained every step of the process. When I first arrived at my 11am appoinment Dr Steed had noticed my nervousness. He asked me to take some deep breaths to relax which helped me greatly. My treatment was quite invasive as my tooth had to be filed down to fit a crown. I felt some mild discomfort which was mostly only pressure. When the anesthesia wore off everything felt fine again and I was able to eat. Overall. I'm very impressed with Dr Patrick Steed's steady hand and Danias' care. Many Thanks. Happy Easter 🩷
Highly Recommend. I discovered Dr Rui Pereira da Costa on Youtube. He is a true leader in endodontics surgery. He has hundreds of live dental videos which offer full transparency of his professionalism. I'm usually nervous when it comes to dental appointments, However, @ my 4pm appointment today , Dr. Rui Pereira da Costa and his assistant's Dania. Their friendliness and professionalism helped me feel at ease. With all my respect, I had a wonderful experience at Merrion Square Dental. I felt completely at ease with Dr. Seán (I hope I’ve spelled his name correctly!)—he was incredibly caring, gentle, and attentive throughout my visit. I also want to mention the lovely lady at reception—she was warm, funny, and made the whole experience even more pleasant. Thank you both for your kindness and professionalism!
I contacted this clinic for a PRSI appointment and specifically asked for an exam first, with any treatment and cost to be confirmed only after assessment. Instead, I was told in advance by *Aimee* that I would pay €45 for periodontal treatment before anyone had even examined my teeth. That came across as unprofessional and money-driven rather than patient-focused. I did not proceed.
Have been attending this dental practice since 1996 and was feeling a bit nervous on my first visit back after Barry (Devaney) retired but Dr.Steed put me completely at ease and I felt totally relaxed. Most recent visit was with hygienist Martina and I came out wanting to show off my smile 😊 Would highly recommend Merrion Square Dental.
I had such a great experience, probably the best I’ve had in Dublin. Dr.Shane took his time to explain the entire check-up thoroughly, making sure I understood everything. He is genuinely passionate about his job, and it really shows in the care and attention he gives. Highly recommended!

The first thing i was greeted with here was the friendly welcome from the reception who really made me feel relaxed. The appointment itself was brilliant. I was made to feel I was part of my own treatment and in the decision making. Even though I was not in the position to address my problem at that time the dentist did everything to make the pain more bearable and prescribe aftercare to hopefully see me through till I can resolve my issue. I will definitely be returning to Merion Dental for my extractions due to the professional manner and treatment. No one I'm sure likes working on Sunday's however they did not show this at all and made me feel at ease with my appointment. Great service and highly recommended.
