Hi I have been doing Pilates classes at Louise's studio for over 10 years. I started in Kingswood and moved to Newcastle when Louise opened her new studio. I also do Reformer classes. The classes have strengthened my core and muscles for my swimming. The classes can be challenging but really fun. I have met some lovely people in the classes. The staff are so friendly and helpful from the reception to the instructors.
I recently attended a number of Pilates classes that exceeded my expectations. The instructor was friendly, very knowledgeable and provided clear, personalized guidance, making the session both challenging and enjoyable. The studio was well-equipped and the atmosphere was welcoming, ensuring repeat visits and a 5 star rating.
The reformer pilates classes are absolutely fantastic. Clare leads the beginners classes so incredibly well and with such a great eye for detail. I feel very confident knowing the class is so well looked after.
I have been doing Pilates and reformer classes for about 8 years with Louise 's team since a diagnosis of osteoporosis. Benefits are huge as i feel muscles strengthening and balance improving. Classes are graded and each instructor has their own style so its easy to find the class that fits best. All team members are professional and passionate about their field. Above all we have some great laughs as we progress through with the next challenge. Highly recommend. !!!
I cannot recommend the Louise O’Rourke Physiotherapy outfit highly enough. I was in agony after a trip to France last summer and after two sessions with Maire (physiotherapist) and one with Carolina (physiotherapist) I was almost completely pain-free. They recommended Reformer Pilates and I have been going twice a week ever since and I think all the teachers I have had are amazing. In fact, I don’t know how Louise does it to have such a talented group of teachers and I cannot thank Teresa, Claire, Paul and Ben enough. The classes are great fun with no two classes the same and they care about their students’ individual needs. The studio is not in a convenient location for me but it is SO worth it to make the effort to go because it is SO good. I would also like to thank the meet and greet team, Monica and Ursula, for their warm welcome and their smiling faces.
I only started Pilates at the beginning of September and I had never done it before or any classes. From the very first class I was well looked after and made to feel at ease. I now try and go a few times a week as I absolutely love it and the teachers are all amazing. I mix it up with mat and reformer and I am seeing a difference in shape, strength and my mind. It’s such a lovely warm environment too and you instantly feel great when you go.
