All staff were excellent and service amazing. My only complaint is the lack of signage at the entrance: the address is 14 Windsor Ave and when you turn on to Windsor Ave the even numbers are on the left but Kingsbridge is on the right with no signage on the roadside or gateway. The only way we found it was the fact that I spotted the Kingsbridge name on the building through the gateway. The map sent with the appointment confirmation does show the building to be on the right but even a small sign just at the gateway would be very helpful.
Mr Mayne is very personable. The nursing staff and radiographers are lovely. Receptionists are very pleasant. Clinic is nice. Very timely appointments. Advised treatment went to plan and I am hopeful of a good outcome.
I had a wonderful experience here at Newry private clinic Kingsbridge..The staff were so welcoming and friendly. My consultant Mr.Boggs was excellent and I received the care from him that I had been waiting for 4 years with another consultant. I came away honestly happy and content with my results and the care I was given. Can honestly say I'm a different woman.Thank you all so very much. Caitriona O'Hanlon
Though the consultant was great and the two receptionists were both friendly and helpful, I really felt like I was COMPLETELY LEFT IN THE LURCH regarding the One2One team. In the letter I got the week before it gave me the team hours (which my appointment fell into so I didn't think it was an issue) and implied that someone from this team would meet me re HSE forms. No one from the team was there. What? I had to ring the hospital in Belfast and was told that the team only worked out of the hospital in Belfast and would be in touch with me. (When?) I have no idea if the forms needed to get a reimbursement from the HSE are actually being done. I do not appreciate being left in limbo like this.
I had taken an ECG at my own GP and he wasn’t happy with the results so he referred me to cardiology rapid access clinic, I then found out the waiting list was a year so I went private to Kingsbridge. My appointment was at 11am and I wasn’t called by the doctor until 11:20am and not even a sorry for the delay. We then discuss my issue and he comes to the conclusion of that I need another ECG. He send me next door to the very friendly and professional nurse Jenny who carried out the test and showed the doctor the results and he was happy with them so he said I could be on my way. I then go to reception to pay and she tells me it’s £400! I said excuse me how is that the consultation was £235 and nobody mentioned that the ECG was £165 there was no discussion of price or any indication that it was that expensive and i said this is ridiculous I wasn’t happy and all the receptionist said was ‘cash or card’. Bear in mind the whole reason I was here because of my free ECG results from local GP weren’t good so I go private only to pay £400 for an ECG off them which I could get for free at my local GP? It felt very sneaky it wasn’t the receptionist first time hearing something like this I bet
I have suffered with sinus issues for over 15 years. I've been back & forth to my GP & given multiple, In fact copious antibiotics, inhalers, steroids, nasal sprays, nasal rinses etc while all the while explaining that these are masks not cures. After begging for a referral for years, i finally felt was listened to in Kingsbridge this week. I still don't know if there is a "cure" but I certainly feel a step closer to one.
The clinic was easy to find. There was a warm welcome and comfy seat whilst waiting. My appointment was on time and after a discussion and brief assessment, decisions were taken about further diagnostic testing. These were easy to arrange.
Went for consultation with Mr. Mahmoud. The receptionist was very welcoming and I found the consultant to be very helpful explaining clearly the next stage of my treatment. He was also very friendly. I felt the whole experience was professional, helpful, reassuring and friendly.
