I used to come to Docklands Dental quite often and always had a very good experience in the past, which makes this review even more disappointing to write. The clinic has always positioned itself as a premium service, and until recently I genuinely felt the quality matched that standard.
Unfortunately, my last visit was probably the worst dental experience I’ve had. It honestly felt like the dentist was having a bad day and rushed through the appointment. I left with significant pain in my lips and mouth, far beyond the normal discomfort you would expect after treatment. Instead of feeling cared for, I left feeling stressed and uncomfortable.
When the receptionist asked about booking my next appointment, my immediate response was “never again with her,” which says a lot considering how much I used to trust the clinic. I was told someone would get back to me regarding the experience, but nobody ever did, and that lack of follow-up made the situation even more disappointing.
It’s sad because this used to be a place I recommended to people. When you charge premium prices, customers naturally expect premium care, attention, and aftercare as well. I truly hope this was an isolated situation, because the clinic used to have a much higher standard than what I experienced this time.
I cannot recommend Dr. Anne at Docklands Dental highly enough. As someone who used to avoid the dentist for years out of pure fear, finding her was a total game-changer.
She is truly the most patient and caring dentist I have ever met. She guided me through every step of my treatment, patiently answering my endless questions and always making herself available to help. Thanks to her and the incredible team, I finally have my smile back. If you’re nervous about dental work, look no further—they are absolute legends!
I’ve been going to Docklands Dental for years, and Dr. Anne and the hygienist are always friendly and professional. However, almost every appointment runs significantly late — usually around 30 minutes past the scheduled time.
What’s most frustrating is the lack of communication while waiting. No one checks in or acknowledges the delay, and there’s rarely an apology from reception. I understand that delays can happen occasionally, but when it’s a consistent pattern, the scheduling process should be adjusted to allow more time between appointments.
For patients taking time off work or managing busy schedules, waiting half an hour or more past the appointment time without any update is really disappointing. A little communication and consideration would make a big difference.
Dr Sarah is truly the best dentist ever and the only dentist I will ever go to. As an extremely nervous patient with lots of visits needed, she was so kind, patient and a true perfectionist. I have and will continue to recommend her to everyone.

Had a general check with Dr.Danny and it was one of the most detailed checks in my life! In 40sh mins he checked everything, incl. gums, jaw, teeth position and even did X-ray with photos.
With Catherine did the dental hygiene. Also one of the most profound, careful and effective proper 30 mins cleansing with ultrasound, polish and airflow powder!
I had three fillings done recently with Dr. Niamh and she was lovely, and patient with me since I have a lot of anxiety with dental work. Overall I’m really pleased I’ll be returning for my usual check ups. thank you :)
I recently had my porcelain veneers replaced by Dr. Anne Elliott at Docklands Dental. I can't speak highly enough of the entire process – from my first consultation through to the final fitting. She listened attentively to my concerns and questions and made sure I always felt comfortable and informed. Her care, professionalism, and expertise were exceptional.

Dr. Ambrish at Docklands Dental is a fantastic dentist. He’s highly skilled with a very kind and patient manner. Overall I hadn’t had the best experiences with other dentists in the last few years but right away I felt at case with Dr. Ambrish as he took his time to listen to my concerns and answered all of my questions. In my experience he sets exacting standards and will take the necessary time to deliver the best possible outcome for his patient. The facilities are also extremely clean, comfortable and welcoming.
