I recently visited Christie Dental to have a back tooth removed after it had cracked and become extremely sensitive. I had developed quite a fear of the dentist after a couple of previous procedures elsewhere that didn’t go very smoothly, so I was very nervous going in.
Dr. Christie was brilliant from start to finish. He reassured me the whole way through the procedure, explained everything clearly, and made me feel completely at ease. The extraction itself was painless and over before I even realised.
The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which really helped calm my nerves. I couldn’t recommend Christie Dental highly enough, especially if you’re someone who feels anxious about visiting the dentist.
I've never felt more at ease in a dentist and I would highly recommend this practice to anyway with dental anxiety. Everyone here were so nice and welcoming. I've already booked in for my next appointment which is something I've never done in the past. Thank you all so much.
I was absolutely shocked by my experience. I booked what I believed to be an emergency dental appointment because I have been suffering from severe tooth pain, facial swelling, and haven’t slept for three days due to the pain. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice during the online booking that the appointment was actually scheduled for one month later.
When I arrived at the clinic, I was told the appointment was not urgent and was for next month. I was genuinely shocked that an “emergency” appointment could mean waiting a whole month while being in severe pain.
What made the situation even more disappointing was that I had already paid €50 online for the booking, which is non-refundable. I understand policies, but for someone in pain, this experience felt very upsetting and misleading.
Had my first ever tooth extracted today and I was terrified going in and Eva was my dentist and couldn’t recommend her enough she calmed me right down and was so patient with me! Explained everything and was very caring best experience I’ve had so far with a dentist! Also the rest of the staff were lovely and welcoming!
I’ve been going to this practice for a few years now for fillings, recently i got a root canal done for the first time. i was told to come back for a crown which was 500 the doctor told me, when i called to confirm my appointment they said it was for another root canal for the same tooth and an extra 370 euros which i paid for a month back for the exact same tooth. They didn’t tell me this information before and could’ve resolved it and saved so much money by extracting the tooth.
I recently attended Christie Dental and was immediately welcomed and respected by the warm and friendly staff. I want to say a sincere Thank You to Dr Philip and Lorraine who carried out my treatment completely in a totally professional manner. I had an emergency appointment with Christie Dental today having suffered for a week with a severe Dental abscess which had to be treated with antibiotics first. Today I saw Dr Yvan, and all I can say is that I've never met someone so professional, kind, caring, understanding and who showed empathy towards me and my plight. The same can be said of the wonderful Dental assistant there. Everything about my examination and subsequent tooth extraction was of the Highest Standard of care, and I'll be forever grateful to them for the relief they have given me. FIRST CLASS DENTAL CARE IN EVERY WAY. They should take a bow and be extremely proud of themselves. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Christie Dental to anyone seeking first class care. One grateful patient....Gordon Lacey. August 7th, 2025. Had a follow up appointment this morning for a cleaning/polishing, and to have the 2nd troublesome tooth removed. Again I was in the hands of the thoroughly professional and kind Dr Yvan, along with the gorgeous and kind assistant Lorraine. After numbing the site of the extraction, Dr Yvan gave my teeth a thorough, unrushed, first class clean and Polish. He then removed the troublesome tooth in a matter of minutes. Everything about my care and treatment was Again first class, professional and of the highest standards of care. Without question they are easily the best I have ever had to attend, so I just want to say a Huge Thank You to Dr Yvan, Lorraine and all associated with Christie Dental. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone seeking dental care.
