My dad got the rudest phone call today saying he never attended his appointment. I rang back as im his carer and told them we were not aware of the referral by our gp. I was told that they rang and my dad said he have to talk to his go and ring back and he never did....... I asked when this happened and was told it was the same day as his appointment. I tried to make a nea appointment as it was there fault he missed his one and was told he have to wait over 2 months. Once I told him id go further about it they suddenly he had an appointment the end of the month. Absolute shocking customer service.. they need to do better. Felt like I was interrupting his dinner or something by ringing. Very rude and not helpful at all...... especially to elderly people... shame on you
Waiting over a year now for an appointment just to get an ultrasound. Have contacted them by email multiple times, all I get is automatic emails back. I was referred by my gp so they already have my referral letter and everything. Extremely poor service.
I Was contacted shortly after my drs appointment and was dealing with a wonderfully professional lady called Sinead, she was most helpful, utterly professional and a credit to your company
I was told I would receive my ultrasound report within 10 days — it’s now been 17 days and I still haven’t received anything. I’ve called customer service twice with no real help. Instead of resolving the issue, they just gave me an email address to chase it up myself. Absolutely unprofessional and disappointing service. Completely unacceptable. I will never be using their services again. To be honest, this much delay is making me lose trust in whether the report will even be accurate or handled properly.
Yesterday i booked appointment and gave my bank and card details. But today i received phone call from Affidea and asked my bank details, card details including my security code again. When i asked why they
ask the details again it is said that they don't have the details now. It is not a good practice to ask confidential details through phone. As per rules it is not legal to ask secured details over phone. Cyber frauds using this modus to cheat people by disguising official phone calls.
So plese make sure to collect details through your official online platforms.
I had a great experience at Affidea Waterford. Sinead on reception was so friendly and helpful and she managed to get me an MRI in no time! It was a quick and easy process and all the staff there were very nice and reassuring :)
After my wife had a very negative experience arranging a scan previously, I was sceptical about my own appointment. I can honestly say it was an excellent experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, no delay and a thorough scan. I would have no hesitation in recommending it. If I had any negative, it is the amount of contact prior to the scan, email text etc., a bit overboard.
