I went to Hammas Mehiläinen Forum for a dental cleaning procedure. I was called in the room almost 10 minutes later than the booked timeslot. The cleaning was taking longer than usual, which of course can happen. But, the whole time I got the impression that the hygienist was in a rush and tried to speed up. Then, about 10 minutes before the end of the timeslot, she said that it was too late to do the lower teeth, so that she would just clean up and that I would have to come back. I expected that I would be automatically re-booked for a follow up to finish, but instead she said that I would have to arrange a completely new appointment, and that I would have to pay for both full price. I tried to have a discussion about it, but, again it seemed that she was in quite a rush and basically pushing me out. The day after, I called the customer service to try and find a solution, but they were not able to help me and told me that they would have the Forum practice call me back at the latest the following day. That was a week ago, and there was no call. I understand that sometimes these procedures can take longer, and that there can be unforeseen delays. But I don't think it is fair for a customer to pay two appointments when one was delayed, and the follow up would require a shorter time to finish. And, in any case, there was no help from the customer service and no follow up whatsoever. Considering what dental care costs, I don't think this is acceptable. I will switch to a different practice.
