Beware of their bait-and-switch tactics!
We came to rent a wheelchair for nine days. A very pleasant and friendly lady explained to us the process and conditions. We inquired about pricing and she said they'd charge us for a one-week rental. We gratefully accepted, rented the wheelchair and left a security deposit.
However, when we came back nine days later to return the wheelchair we met instead a very unpleasant and unfriendly man. He returned our security deposit after deducting the price of a two-week rental. We gently mentioned his colleague had told us they wouldn't charge that much. He brusquely replied she had no right to do so because he's her supervisor, and that her mistake would have no impact on the price he was going to charge us.
He tried to find some fine print stating that nine days would cost the same as two weeks, but he couldn't. The price quote wasn't written down in the rental contract, but merely given to us orally.
In other countries, quoting one price and then charging double after the fact is illegal. Whether it's legal or not in Belgium (and I wouldn't bet it is), it remains a disreputable business practice.
We can still recommend making a one-off purchase from the kind and helpful lady we met first --- possibly even at the higher prices imposed by her dour and unsympathetic supervisor.
Conversely, we'd advise against doing any business with Maison Luc Médical that requires follow-up assistance. You just cannot know what unpleasantness may await you on a return visit!
Bonjour les amis , l'accueil chaleureux et très professionnel. En venant à la maison médicale Luc, j'ai directement trouvé mon choix. Faites comme moi venez vous faire plaisir pour votre bien être. A très bientôt pour d'autres aventures
très mauvaise expérience. suis tombée sur une dame plutôt revêche qui m'a vendu deux soutiens de contention qui n'étaient pas de la bonne taille. Je suis retournée 3 jours plus tard à la demande du chirurgien car le bas de la fermeture zippée commençait déjà à se déchirer et que le soutien était très inconfortable mais la même dame a refusé de reprendre le 2è soutien alors qu'il était toujours dans son emballage d'origine en disant que je l'avais payé donc je devais le garder ! Bref vous faites confiance mais on vous vends n'importe quoi ! Allez chez Brasseur, ils sont plus sympas et leurs soutiens sont moins chers !
Service impeccable, gentillesse et écoute, Je suis arrivé 5 minutes après l'heure de fermeture un vendredi soir, la dame a rouvert pour me servir et a été disponible et souriante pour répondre à mes questions. En plus le matériel fourni est de qualité. Nous manquons à Bruxelles de ce genre de commerce de proximité ou le commerçant est à l'écoute. Merci et bravo madame je reviendrai chez vous. Même si je dois traverser la ville, uniquement pour votre service professionnel et sympathique.
Super expérience !!! J'explique à la dame que j'ai besoin d'une brassière, elle prend mes mesures dans une pièce à l'abris de tous et trouve directement chaussure à mon pied. Je recommande à 100% !
