The 10 best dental clinics in the UAE
Published October 27, 2026
The UAE does not lack dental clinics. Dubai and Abu Dhabi between them hold hundreds, many of them in malls and office towers within a few minutes of each other, and a search for “the best dentist in Dubai” returns sponsored rankings, directories and clinic blogs in roughly equal measure — almost none of them saying what they ranked on.
This list answers one question: among the dental clinics in the UAE rated 4.5 or better, which have the most patients behind them? Both halves of that are deliberate. Without the rating threshold, this would be a list of the busiest clinics whatever their patients thought. Without review count, it would fill with practices rated five stars by a handful of people.
The bar on each row below is that clinic’s review count as a share of the leader’s. It is the quickest way to see what the order rests on without reading a word of the method.
How to read this list
The exact order is the least important thing here. Review count tells you how many patients a clinic has seen, not that it did the best work — and every clinic below cleared the same rating threshold to get here. Use it as a shortlist rather than a league table: which emirate and which district suit you, which are single practices and which are chains, and which are set up for children.
Two things are easy to miss. The first is geography: this is one list for the whole country, and when it was written it leaned towards Abu Dhabi rather than Dubai. A clinic that is forty minutes away by car is not a shortlist entry for a check-up, however good its numbers. The second is the chains. Several rows here can belong to one group, and the rating on each row belongs to that branch alone.
Settle these before you book
- Ask for the dentist’s name, and check the licence. The rating belongs to the clinic; the treatment belongs to a person, and the licence is theirs.
- Ask whether your insurer is accepted — for this treatment. Being in a network for consultations does not always mean the plan pays for the work.
- Get the treatment plan in writing. How many visits, which procedure, which materials. A verbal quote makes price comparison impossible.
- Look at when the reviews were written. A high rating earned years ago describes a different clinic if the dental team has since turned over.
How this list was made
Our catalogue holds 241 dental clinic listings in United Arab Emirates. The 230 rated 4.5 or better on Google are the field; this list is the 10 of them that the most patients have reviewed.
- 241
- clinics listed in United Arab Emirates
- 4.5+
- rating needed to qualify
- 2,264
- reviews, the fewest on the list
Review count sets the order and the rating decides who is in the running. On rating alone the top would go to whichever practice talked three relatives into five stars. On review count alone it would be the busiest clinics in the city, whatever their patients thought.
The clinics, their ratings and their review counts are read from our catalogue when this page loads, so the order follows the current figures rather than the date this was written.
What we looked at
- Review count sets the order
- A clinic's place on this list comes from how many patients have reviewed it on Google. The most-reviewed clinic is first. Review count is the one countable piece of evidence for how many people actually went there and said something about it.
- The rating is a threshold, not a rank
- A clinic needs at least 4.5 on Google to be in the running at all. Below that it does not appear; above it, the rating only breaks a tie.
- One list for the whole country
- Our catalogue does not break the UAE down by emirate, so this is a single list for all seven. Each clinic's address is on its row; check it before you assume a clinic is in Dubai.
- What we left out
- Several of the most-reviewed records in our UAE dental catalogue are general medical centres that also have a dentist — most of them branches of one large polyclinic chain, one a primary care centre. Their reviews belong to the GP, the dermatologist and the pharmacy as much as to the dental chair, so a large count says little about the dentistry. Their records are not wrong; they are off-topic for someone looking for a dentist, and we took them out.
- What we did not do
- We have not visited these clinics, checked practitioners' licences, or followed up on treatment outcomes. This is what the public data says — it is not an inspection.
The commentary is ours. The ratings are Google’s, and we do not adjust them.
The list

Abu Dhabi, Centro Business Tower, 7th Floor,
In Abu Dhabi, on an upper floor of an office tower in Al Rawdah. A dental-only practice whose record lists implants and periodontics among its services — a specialist offer, not a walk-in clinic.

Abu Dhabi, 138, 17
Synergy Dental, out in Al Shamkha on the edge of Abu Dhabi, and built around orthodontics as much as general dentistry. Far from the centre, but with a large residential area of its own around it.

Abu Dhabi,
Retaj, in Shakhbout City on the Abu Dhabi mainland. The name says medical centre, but our catalogue — and its own listing — puts dentistry first, including emergency dental care.

Abu Dhabi, next to Le Chocola,
Appolonia, in Khalifa City — a paediatric dental practice. If you are looking for yourself rather than a child, this is not the clinic; if you have children, it is one of the few on the list built for them.

Dubai, Unit M04 & M05, Mezzanine floor, Manazil Al Raffa 01,
In Al Mankhool, Bur Dubai — one of the older, more central parts of the city. A dental-only practice in a mixed residential area, easy to reach on the metro.

Abu Dhabi, 44
The same paediatric group's second Abu Dhabi location, at Al Bateen near the Corniche. Ratings are held per branch, so read the page for the one you would actually visit.

Dubai, Sport Society, Dr. Joy Dental Clinic Unit- L2-A-305 - Second Floor,
Dr. Joy Dental, Mirdif branch, inside a shopping mall. Part of a chain with several locations across Dubai, which helps if you move around the city; settle at the start which dentist you are seeing.

Abu Dhabi, 28th Street,
Harmony, in Mohammed Bin Zayed City on the Abu Dhabi mainland. Medical centre in name, dental clinic in practice — implants and cosmetic dentistry lead its listing.

Dubai, BurJuman, Business Tower, Office 1003 10th Floor,
The same chain's BurJuman branch, in an office tower at the mall in Al Mankhool. Central, and the most convenient of its branches on the metro.

Dubai, villa, 1021
Dr. Joy again, this time in a villa on Al Wasl Road in Jumeirah. Several branches of one chain on this list is the review count working as described — each branch earned its own.
Questions about this list
Why are so many of these clinics in Abu Dhabi rather than Dubai?
Because the ranking counts reviews, not reputation. Dubai has more dental clinics, but they split the city's patients between them; several Abu Dhabi practices have gathered more reviews per clinic. That is a statement about where patients have left reviews, not about which city has better dentists.
How do I check a dentist's licence in the UAE?
Healthcare is licensed by emirate: the Dubai Health Authority in Dubai, the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, and the federal health ministry in the northern emirates. Each lets you look a practitioner up by name. Ask the clinic for the name of the dentist who will treat you and check it there — the licence belongs to the person, not to the clinic.
Will my health insurance cover it?
Check before you book rather than after. Basic plans in the UAE often leave routine dental work out, or cover only emergencies, and the clinics that accept your insurer are not always the ones on this list. Ask the clinic directly whether it is in your insurer's network, and ask your insurer what the plan pays for that treatment.
Is it worth flying abroad for dental work instead?
Many UAE residents do, often to Turkey, and for large treatments the price difference can be real. The honest comparison includes flights, time off work and what happens if something needs redoing — a crown that fails is a second trip, not a second appointment. For check-ups, fillings and anything that needs regular follow-up, a clinic near home usually wins.
How often does this list change?
The order is not fixed. The clinics and their ratings are read from our catalogue when the page loads, so a clinic whose rating slips, or one that overtakes it on review count, moves without anyone editing the page. The writing is revised by hand, and the date it was last revised is under the heading.
Can a clinic pay to be on this list?
No. ClinicPicker does sell placement, and it is labelled Sponsored wherever it appears — but it cannot appear here. Position comes from review count and rating alone.
