The 10 best dental clinics in Istanbul
Published September 3, 2026
Finding a dental clinic in Istanbul is not a problem of scarcity — our catalogue counts the city’s dental clinics in the thousands. The problem is the opposite. There is so much choice that searching for “the best dental clinic in Istanbul” returns a dozen different rankings, no two of them agreeing, and almost none of them saying what they ranked on.
This list answers one question: among the dental clinics in Istanbul rated 4.5 or better, which have the most patients behind them? Both halves of that are deliberate. Without the rating threshold, this is a list of the busiest clinics in the city whatever their patients thought — run the same ranking on Ankara with no threshold and a 2.6-rated practice lands in the top twenty-five. Without review count, it fills with practices rated five stars by a handful of people.
The bar on each row below is that clinic’s review count as a share of the leader’s. It is the quickest way to see what the order rests on without reading a word of the method.
How to read this list
The exact order is the least important thing here. Review count tells you how many patients a clinic has seen, not that it did the best work — and all ten clinics below cleared the same rating threshold to get here. Use it as a shortlist of ten rather than a league table: which districts suit you, which are single-dentist practices and which are chains, and which are set up for patients arriving from abroad.
That last point matters more in Istanbul than almost anywhere. The city is one of the world’s largest dental tourism destinations, which means several clinics here work mainly with patients flying in. That is neither good nor bad in itself, but it is a different service: package pricing, a compressed treatment schedule, accommodation and transfers. For someone who lives twenty minutes away, none of that package is a benefit.
Settle these before you book
- Ask for the dentist’s name. The rating belongs to the clinic; the treatment belongs to a person. At a chain those are not the same thing.
- Get the treatment plan in writing. How many visits, which procedure, which materials. A verbal “we do implants” makes price comparison impossible.
- Look at when the reviews were written. A high rating earned three years ago describes a different clinic if the dental team has since turned over.
- Ask who pays for follow-ups and revisions. On long treatments, and especially if you are travelling, that is where the real cost difference is.
How this list was made
Our catalogue holds 2,319 dental clinic listings in İstanbul. The 1,796 rated 4.5 or better on Google are the field; this list is the 10 of them that the most patients have reviewed.
- 2,319
- clinics listed in İstanbul
- 4.5+
- rating needed to qualify
- 3,463
- reviews, the fewest on the list
Review count sets the order and the rating decides who is in the running. On rating alone the top would go to whichever practice talked three relatives into five stars. On review count alone it would be the busiest clinics in the city, whatever their patients thought.
The clinics, their ratings and their review counts are read from our catalogue when this page loads, so the order follows the current figures rather than the date this was written.
What we looked at
- Review count sets the order
- A clinic's place on this list comes from how many patients have reviewed it on Google. The most-reviewed clinic is first. The reasoning is plain: review count is the one countable piece of evidence for how many people actually went there and said something about it.
- The rating is a threshold, not a rank
- A clinic needs at least 4.5 on Google to be in the running at all. Below that it does not appear; above it, the rating only breaks a tie. Ranked on review count with no threshold, this would be a list of the busiest clinics in the city whatever their patients thought.
- Ratings as published, unadjusted
- We do not weight, round or convert Google's ratings into a score of our own. The number on this page is the clinic's number.
- Specialty from the data, not from the marketing
- A clinic is only in this slice if our catalogue classifies it as a dental clinic with confidence. General practices that mention dentistry in their own copy are not counted in.
- What we did not do
- We have not visited these clinics, checked practitioners' credentials, or followed up on treatment outcomes. This is what the public data says — it is not an inspection.
The commentary is ours. The ratings are Google’s, and we do not adjust them.
The list

İstanbul, Çobançeşme, Sanayi Cd. 44A No:16, 34196 Bahçelievler/İstanbul, Türkiye
The same group's second location, in Bahçelievler. Asking which dentist works at which branch is the quickest way to see the difference between the two.

İstanbul, Halkalı Merkez Mah. Basın Ekspres, Yan Yolu NO:9/5, 34303 Küçükçekmece/İstanbul, Türkiye
In Küçükçekmece on the Basın Ekspres corridor — on the airport and hotel axis, which is no accident: like the name, the clinic is set up for the patient flying in. For someone living in the city, that location is not an advantage.

İstanbul, Esentepe, 23 Temmuz Sk. No:9, 34394 Şişli/İstanbul, Türkiye
The Şişli location of a corporate-scale group working largely with patients flying in. Worth asking for the price and the treatment plan in writing.

İstanbul, Sultançiftliği, Eski Edirne Asf. No:577 K:1, 34265 Sultangazi/İstanbul, Türkiye
The same chain's Sultangazi branch. Both appearing separately is the useful detail: ratings are held per branch, so read the page for the branch you would visit rather than the name over the door.

İstanbul, Kiptaş Merkezevler Sitesi, Merkezefendi Mahallesi, Mevlana Caddesi, No:94, Çarşı Dükkanları No:65, 34015 Zeytinburnu/İstanbul, Türkiye
The Topkapı branch of a chain with several locations across the city. The chain structure means a week's leave does not cancel your appointment outright; in exchange, settle at the start which dentist you are actually seeing.

İstanbul, Atatürk, 1. İkitelli Cad. NO:140/B, 34307 Küçükçekmece/İstanbul, Türkiye
In Küçükçekmece, again working mainly with medical tourism. The same caveat applies: the listing name was written for search engines, while the numbers stand on their own.

İstanbul, Fevzi Çakmak, Akdeniz Cd. No: 46, 34899 Pendik/İstanbul, Türkiye
Pendik–Kaynarca, at the eastern edge of the Asian side. The lowest-rated clinic on this list — it clears the threshold and gets here on weight of review, which is this ranking working exactly as described.

İstanbul, İkitelli OSB, Süleyman Demirel Blv No:4/1 D:2, 34944 Başakşehir/İstanbul, Türkiye
Başakşehir, out at İkitelli. The name leads with the aesthetic side, though our catalogue classifies it as a dental clinic; worth asking which team handles which procedure.

İstanbul, Altayçeşme Mah. Bağdat Cad. No. 317 Maltepe Eski minibüs yolu YÜZEVLER durağı Maltepe Belediyesi 100 m yürüme mesafesi, 34843 Maltepe/İstanbul, Türkiye
In Maltepe, one branch of a group with several locations. Sitting on the Bağdat Caddesi axis makes it one of the easier ones to reach on the Asian side.

İstanbul, Bağlarbaşı, Atatürk Cd. No:122, 34844 Maltepe/İstanbul, Türkiye
Maltepe, at oral-health-centre scale — our catalogue classifies it as both a dental clinic and a private hospital, so a different proposition from a single-dentist practice.
Questions about this list
How often does this list change?
The order is not fixed. The clinics and their ratings are read from our catalogue when the page loads, so a clinic whose rating slips, or one that overtakes it on review count, moves without anyone editing the page. The writing is revised by hand, and the date it was last revised is under the heading.
Can a clinic pay to be on this list?
No. ClinicPicker does sell placement, and it is labelled Sponsored wherever it appears — but it cannot appear here. Position comes from review count and rating alone.
Why is a clinic I have heard of missing?
One of three reasons: its Google rating is below 4.5, so it is not in the running; it carries fewer reviews than the ten that are; or our catalogue classifies it as something other than a dental clinic — a private hospital, most often. If the last is wrong, the support page is the way to tell us.
Does a high rating mean a good dentist?
Not directly. A Google rating bundles together how easy the clinic was to book, how the staff behaved, how long the wait was and how the price felt — most of which is not a clinical outcome. Read a high rating as evidence that a clinic has satisfied a great many patients, not as a guarantee that your treatment plan is the right one.
Is Istanbul actually cheaper than dental care at home?
Often, and that is why the city is one of the largest dental tourism destinations in the world — but the comparison is only honest once flights, accommodation and the cost of going back for a revision are in it. A crown that fails in year two is a second trip, not a second appointment. Ask what the clinic covers if something needs redoing, and get the answer in writing before you travel.
Which district should I choose?
It depends on how many appointments the treatment takes. For a single visit, proximity does not matter; for implants or orthodontics running over months, somewhere easy to reach is the difference between keeping and missing the follow-ups. The clinics below are spread across both the European and Asian sides of the city.
